High School Graduates' Recognition

During our service on May 30, 2010, the church recognized the accomplishments of our graduating high school seniors. Recognized were Casie Renee Swening and Michael Justin Watson or First United Methodist of Coleman and Hayden Jiles Wise from our sister church, Gouldbusk United Methodist. The three graduates were presented a certificate and received a college scholarship from the United Methodist Women who were represented by Mona Wilson. Casie Swening and Michael Watson also received scholarships from the choir of the First United Methodist Church of Coleman.

Got junk? Have we got a deal for you! Just drop off your stuff in Zach's office at the church. We'll sell it with all the proceeds going to Change for Change: China to build a library for the children of mingrant workers in Nanjing, China. The garage sale will be April 17th in conjuctin with the countywide garage sale. Not only will you be cleaning out your clutter, you'll be helping to create change in the world.
